You've surely heard of it by now: two years ago, the European Union established a so-called "General Data Protection Regulation" (GDPR; in German: Datenschutz-Grundverordnung, DSGVO), which comes into effect on 25 May 2018. In general, it's supposed to better protect personal data. While the intentions are of good nature, it has an enormous effect on all website owners, all of whom will have to take action to comply with the new regulations. 48DESIGN has now updated its own websites and is therefore ready for this deadline.
