Modernizing the website
We were commissioned to redesign and program the website for the consulting firm beratergruppe:Leistungen from Karlsruhe. In addition to renewing the outdated design and the partly outdated technology, the focus was on using WordPress as a content management system (CMS) for easy maintenance of the website. Hundreds of news items were to be transferred from the old CMS to WordPress, not only for SEO reasons, for which an import script was specially written so that not every post had to be transferred manually.

Focus on personal advice
In order to focus on the people behind the company, an overview page of all employees was created with detailed search options. Here, for example, the consultants can be filtered by location or searched by main area of activity. Direct contact options can be found for each employee on request. On the pages for the individual services, visitors can find the relevant contact person for each topic. The database for employees can be conveniently maintained via the WordPress interface, with links to individual subject areas or pages being created intuitively with just a few clicks.

Detail loving implementation
As experts in the field of data protection, perfect implementation of the GDPR was of course a basic requirement. We also programmed a small plugin that can display all the images used and their authors or copyright on the imprint page, including a preview image, in order to reduce the maintenance effort for beratergruppe:Leistungen to a minimum and to ensure that the artists are named. Little helpers like this round off the experience on this beautiful website.
